Good backup to the robot, frustrating on its own
I use this as a spot-cleaner alongside my robot vacuum, and in that role it's genuinely useful. Lightweight, easy to grab for a quick cleanup after feeding, one-button operation. As a primary vacuum I'd find it frustrating. The dustbin is small — fills up fast in a house with a baby and a dog. The battery lasts about 20 minutes on the setting I use most, which is enough for one room but nothing more. Cleaning it is easy though, which is the thing that matters most to me right now. Pop the bin, tap it out, rinse if needed. Done. What surprised me: The crevice tool is actually useful for getting into the highchair joints where food hides.
Fast enough for daily my dog patrol, not much else
My workflow: robot vacuum does the scheduled deep clean, this does the in-between. my dog tracks in something gross, this is out in ten seconds. Post-zoomies fur explosion in the hallway — this handles it before I've even processed what happened. For that use case it's great. Lightweight, instant-on, easy to empty. The pet attachment tool gets into the couch cushion crevices where fur packs in.For sole-vacuum duties in a pet household? You'd be emptying it constantly and charging it constantly. The bin fills embarrassingly fast with cocker spaniel fur. Battery is about 20 minutes on the setting that actually picks stuff up.What surprised me: The crevice tool fits between my couch cushions perfectly. my dog hides treats in there. I'm finding things I didn't know I was looking for.
Convenient but I don't trust the battery long-term
My wife uses this for quick pickups between the robot vacuum runs. It does that job adequately. My concern is the battery. Lithium batteries in these things degrade and when they do the machine becomes useless. I've seen it happen with other cordless tools. At 18 months this one still holds a charge but I'm watching it. The suction is decent for light work. Don't expect it to replace a proper vacuum for deep cleaning. The filter needs attention more often than you'd think — when it's dirty the suction drops noticeably and there's no indicator telling you that's the problem. You have to figure it out yourself. It's convenient. Convenience has value. I'm just not sure about the five-year picture. What surprised me: The attachments are actually useful. The crevice tool in particular. I've used it on the car interior, which wasn't the intention but it works well.
Nice product, but not the best
It did what it needed to do, and the price was great, but i couldn't recommend it.
