My bed. Technically my dog's bed. I'm allowed on it.

Listen. I knew when I got my dog that the dog was going to sleep in the bed. I just needed the mattress to survive it.Four years with a cocker spaniel on this thing. She's 22 lbs, she sleeps at the foot, she does that digging thing before she settles. The mattress has not sagged, has not developed any weird indentation from her spot, and the cover zips off and is machine washable. For me: the pressure relief is good. I'm a side sleeper and my shoulder used to hurt in the morning on my old mattress. That stopped with this one. What surprised me: How easy it was to spot clean the surface when my dog had a stomach situation at 3am. Didn't soak in. Cleaned up without drama. That's the review for pet owners — how does it handle 3am stomach situations. This one handles it fine.

+ Holds up to 4 years of dog use+ No sagging from pet sleeping spot+ Zippered washable cover+ Easy spot cleaning+ Good pressure relief for side sleepers- Heavy to rotate- Expensive- my dog shows no appreciation for the investment

Three years. No sagging. That's my review.

I've bought four mattresses in my adult life. The first two sagged within two years. The third lasted seven. I wanted to beat seven. Three years into this one and there's no sagging, no body impression, no change in how it feels from when we bought it. My wife's side and my side both feel the same as day one. That's what I need from a mattress. I sleep on my side. My hip used to wake me up on my old mattress — a pressure point that built up over the night. That hasn't happened once on this one. The delivery was handled professionally. Two men, careful with the door frames, took away the old mattress without being asked. That matters to me and it's worth mentioning. What surprised me: It was easier to get onto our bed frame than the old one. That sounds minor but at my age getting the mattress positioned correctly is genuinely a job.

+ No sagging at three years+ No body impression+ Pressure relief works for side sleepers+ Professional delivery and removal+ Easier to position than expected- Expensive- Heavy — needs two people to rotate
